Restaurant Promotional Video: Profussion

We provided restaurant video production for Keyshawn Johnson’s Profussion, an asian american fusion restaurant (now closed), which was located at International Plaza, where Capital Grill is located now. It was by far our favorite restaurant in Tampa Bay because you could go there with anyone, anytime and find something to eat. They had a diverse menu that included sushi, steaks, chinese food, and vegetarian fare – they had something for everyone. From 2002 – 2007, Edward Isin, our Creative Director, created, produced and directed the well known local TV show “Tampa Bay Stepping Out (TBSO).”

TBSO first aired on Brighthouse networks local programming channel (now defunct) and then WFTS Tampa’s ABC affiliate. Profussion was one of the first restaurants to be featured on the show. “I have a reputation, because of all the food I have shot, as a restaurant and food director,” said Edward Isin, even though his resume is quite extensive and includes major music videos, sports television and feature length documentary films. “People relate to what they see, and during that time my reel contained a lot of stylized food shots and activity shots of people eating, food displays and chefs cooking,” Edward said, which led to a lot of television commercials he directed and produced for local restaurants, clubs and entertainment venues.
